Food Waste Challenge
- Create an app that takes a picture of your goods in the fridge and gives you information about what should be used first, suggested recipes, reminding you of things that need to be eaten before they go bad.
- Food waste doesn't compost without air - so going to the landfill doesn't help anyone! Companies like Recology are trying to fight the existing problem, but it is really just a mindset or habit. If you start to compost now, you will see its benefits quickly. Compost as an individual or as a community. It is not enough to create the compost, you also need to also use it (see 3).
- Create a 'better soil' hashtag project - spread the word, create compost communities with like minded composters. Start changing the soil around, growing things, supporting the man-made environment with growing projects. Think living walls, plant swaps, community gardens, roof gardens, hanging gardens, plant-art-installations, moss graffiti, or bus stop bee stations

Single Use
CHANGE THE MENTALITY CHANGE THE BEHAVIOR!
- Waste product to takeout container - For example sugarcane waste to single use dishes by Chuk
- Pfand system like in Germany
- Create pfand system for your cafe - charge 5$ more than the drink price and give the drink in a reusable take container like a simple metal hot cup. When customer returns the container they get their 5$ back. If they bring their own, they don't need to pay for it (just the drink!).
- All single use products must be allowed to be shipped back to the producers; creating responsible product makers and not just responsible consumers!
